Q.Christmas cactus looks shriveled

My Christmas cactus looks shriveled and the leaves are thin (as in not thick and fleshy). I water it when the soil feels dry. What’s wrong with it?

I suspect your christmas cactus may have been under-watered. A christmas cactus should never be allowed to dry out completely between waterings. Always strive to keep the soil slightly moist, but not damp/soggy. I would recommend watering your cactus sparingly every few days until the soil is lightly moist to build up its hydration level gradually.
