Q.My Chinese Evergreen Was Beautiful When We Got Home. North Window Light. Began To Have Leaves Yellow, Then Dry Edges.
What am I doing wrong? North window light. Water when top is dry. I have pruned off bad leaves.

Unfortunately your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. Usually, this will indicate overwatering. They are very drought tolerant, but will not tolerate wet soils.
