Brown Turkey fig sticky leaves

My Brown Turkey fig is 2 years old. Lately, the leaves have become very thick with a sticky feeling. No bugs or scale and good growth and with good color. Leaves are sticky on top part. What is causing change in leaves?

Even if your not seeing insects the sticky substance, most likely honeydew, is suspicious.
Spray with Neem Oil to retain the health of your Fig.
