Blueberry Bushes Leaves Are Curling Up and Turning Brown

I have been watering the bushes. This is their first year planted and it has been very dry. I also have been using a once-a-month acid fertilizer on them. What am I doing wrong?

I would pull back on the fertilizing. It may be burning the new roots that the plant is growing. Resume fertilizing when you see new growth.
