Q.My blue plumbagos are not blooming for the first time in years.

Zone Montgomery, Texas 77316 | Anonymous added on May 13, 2020 | Answered

I have several Blue Plumbagos. They are established. I’ve had them for years and they have always bloomed beautifully. They are very full now with leaves but not a single bloom on any of them. What could be the problem?

There are several possibilities. Have the nearby trees grown up and begun to shade the plants more than before? Perhaps they need to be fertilized. Finally, if you've trimmed them very severely, they may be recovering from that.
