My blackberry vines have turned black dying from the tips

What is this disease? Is there an effective treatment? I live in coastal NE North Carolina, just off the Albermarle Sound, zone 8.

There are a few things it could be, some are treatable and some are not. It could be wilt, cane blight or a fungus.
