Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe branches are black with white scales on them. It is affecting part of 2 bushes in 2 separate locations. There are also spots on the leaves. These are very mature azaleas and I haven’t had any problems before now. What might this be and how do I save them?

This sounds like a case of Azalea Bark Scale.
