Q.My apple trees are not showing signs of budding
My apple trees are not showing signs of budding again at this time of year. What could be the reason? No leaves on the apple trees but the twigs look alive…bark when scraped is green.

There could be several reasons your tree is not beginning to bud or leaf out.
Have you allowed enough time this spring to see the tree waking up? Make sure your tree is properly planted, watered, fertilized.
