Zone It is a houseplant, but I live in a zone 8/9 | Anonymous added on June 17, 2016 | Answered

Th plant is one year old and has always been in the same well lit but shady place. This week the leaves began to yellow and dry up. The soil is not dry but damp. How can I salvage it, please?

Yellowing leaves is generally a sign of watering issues.
Either to much or to little.

Make sure the soil is damp but not soggy.
