Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy 30 plus year old evergreen has tipped and roots are exposed. Should I cover roots with mulch-top soil mix? Because of its size and the privacy it provides, I really don’t want to remove this tree. The roots are not attractive and it seems like they should be protected.

This is a case where the age of the tree and most like the size, may need a professional tree Arborist to correctly determine a coarse of action.
The amount of roots exposed or if the tree is unstable would be important for the trees health and your safety.
