Q.My 2 Melittis Royal Velvet Have Developed Red Spots Marks On Most Of The Foliage, But The White Ones Have Not
These are growing side by side in 3 different parts of garden but tge red spot has not transferred to the all white version pics attached. Pic 1 is the Royal Distinction abd Pic 2 is the white version

Sometimes, plants of the same genus have different "immune systems" due to cultivar differences. It could be the case that as the "Royal Velvet" was bred and back-crossed, the immune system was compromised.
