Q.My 2 indoor plants, palms

Zone Hereford, UK | greatjms added on February 1, 2018 | Answered

They are some 5-6 ft high and suddenly both of them are suffering from something that is making any new growth go dry and brown. Some of the large fonds feel very dry and there are bits of brown on the fonds. They may have been overwatered prior to this happening.

I am really worried I will loose them both xx

Depending on the type of palm, then you are more than likely correct. Overwatering can lead to infection, fast. You can try peroxide at one part peroxide to 3 parts water, or wettable sulfur to help, but it is likely that the infection could kill it. Could you include a photo, so that I might be able to see, exactly, what is going on?
