Q.Mushrooms in CF Greenhouse

Anonymous added on August 6, 2011 | Answered

My soil in my cold frame greenhouse is resting until this fall when the weather cools down. Meanwhile, I have noticed giant mushrooms growing in my CF greenhouse. I want to grow lettuce this fall/winter, but I am worried about what the mushrooms are doing to my soil.

Mushroom growth is usually due to an abundance of moisture. Perhaps this article will be helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/getting-rid-of-mushrooms-growing-in-houseplant-soil.htm
