Q.Mushroom Looking Stuff on Esperanza

Zone Waco Texas | gsts2417 added on April 16, 2012 | Answered

I cut my esparanza back in the late fall. It has come out with beautiful green leaves but no flowers yet. Growing in the dirt is lemon yellow things that look like mushrooms. Can you tell me what they are and how to treat them.

They will not harm the plant. It is actually a good sign that the soil there is good. This article will give you some suggestions as to how to get rid of them, but if you don't mind them growing there, they will not hurt anything.
