Multiple Flower Types On Adenium Obesum

Hiya, very curious about the appearance of two distinct flower types appearing simultaneously on my Desert Rose. Can you offer any info on this? Is it typical, or somehow an anomaly, and if so, what is the cause?

It looks like another variety was grafted onto a stem of your adenium. Or, there are two plants side by side in the same container. I can't tell from the photo.
