Mulching Pepper Plants in a Container

We are growing vegetables (tomatoes and 3 variety of peppers) in containers. Does it hurt anything to add a layer of mulch around these plants?

No, mulch is fine for use around your plants. Try opting for shredded bark or straw on veggies.
