Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have some bags of unopened mulch. I also have a large freezer. Is it OK if I freeze the mulch for the winter and then use it in the spring.

It wouldn’t hurt, and actually may keep it from developing any kind of rot. Had it been regular soil, I would have said no. Mulch on the, other hand can be handled differently.
