Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe live in Winston-Salem, NC. Muhly Grass originally planted spring, 2015. We cut it back to 8-10″ high in Sept. 2015. So far we only see the dead sprigs. Should we be seeing green growth by now? We’re afraid it’s all dead. Thank you!

Cutting the grass back should not have been an issue. Many people leave the grass for winter and then cut back in spring.
Give the plants a bit more time to wake up. Applying a light feeding of a balanced fertilizer can help a slow growing plant. Don’t over fertilize.
