Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI need to move two rhodies. They are each about five feet high and a change in our landscaping wishes means they no longer fit. When is the best time to move them? They also need to be pruned. Should that be done before, after, not for awhile?

In most climates, the best time to transplant rhododendrons is in early spring while the plant is still dormant and just prior to flowering. In warm climates, transplant them in late fall.
