Q.Mother of thousands plantlets

Ceinwen added on June 16, 2019 | Answered

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me, I recently acquired a mother of thousands from my mother, and a few weeks later decided to plant some of the plantlets growing on it. They’ve taken to their new pot quickly and are growing quickly, however they look different to the mother plant – plantlets that have fallen and are growing inside the original pot are the same size but look different. Is it a stress thing, because the ones I removed have more room to grow? Any information I have on varieties just show different species!

They do react differently to different stresses. They will definitely ovecrowd that container VERY quickly. They are very fast, and very invasive, so take care not to let any of them fall into any other container plants. They will quickly outcompete anything that they are growing with leaving you with a dead plant.
