Q.moth like insects

Zone 32571 | mikeyd added on September 28, 2016 | Answered

I live in NW Florida and have been seeing many little bugs flying around and lying on the ground. They look like a baby moth. Any ideas and can they do any damage?

Florida has approx 12,500 identified insects, including moths!

I would suggest taking a sample of the moth to your nearest County Extension Office.
They can help with identification and help you determine if they are harming your garden.

Here are some links for you including a link to help you locate your nearest Extension Office.
