what is this good for is this good for bugs thing like bed bugs and other insect in a home

No, they are not for use against bugs in the home. In fact, if they are not used properly mothballs can be very dangerous. They are labeled for use in closed containers to repel moths in clothes. Inhaling the fumes can be deadly. Ingesting mothballs are toxic as well.
