Moth Balls in Vegetable Garden Ok?

Lots of cats in my vegetable garden. Will moth balls get rid of the cats?

They will help to repel the cats, but recently there has been some concerns about the health effects of moth balls on people. Because of this, moth balls should be used in the garden with caution.
