Have read that banana peels fermented in water is beneficial for watering plants. I have found mosquitoes breeding in water. How do I remediate problem

I have a favorite! There are hard disks that melt and they are made up a nifty bacteria called Bacillus thuringiensis, and these will absolutely destroy the mosquito larva. It is completely harmless to humans, and they are found in soil, naturally.
