Monkey Puzzle tree

I have a well established Monkey Puzzle tree and parts of the lower branches have turned brown. Is there a common cause for this and is there anything I can do to improve it?

There could be a few reasons including natural aging of the plant.
There are very specific growing needs and conditions of the Monkey Puzzle Tree.
