Monkey Puzzle Tree Puffing Out Smoke.

My monkey puzzle tree which is mabey around 50-60ft, which i know for 20years yet first time seeing this is puffing out smoke at the new buds, what is it? spores? or something else.

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. Could it be pollen that you are referring to?
