Q.money tree plant

Zone VA. mid atlantic Norfolk | gee wills added on May 30, 2014 | Answered

I purchased a small money tree plant about a year ago and just replanted it. It came with a tie to hold the breaded stems. In order for this to grow larger, does this tie need to be removed or replace with (1) just a little looser? The plant is only about 18″ high.

Yes, you need to replace the tie so that it doesn't cut into the tree stems as they grow. At some point you will be able to remove the tie because the stems will be permanently entwined.
