Q.Money Tree Houseplant Left Outside In The Garden
Hello. I need help. I did something wrong with my money Tree plant. I kept it out in the garden over summer in a bright sun. I did notice a change in colour of the leaves but I thought it was normal. All leaves turned brown and have some dark spots. But I forgot to bring it in early enough in the house. I did not think and I did not know that low temperatures will damage the plant. Now it is inside. But it is in a room where the temperature can get very low. It is in a sun room where the radiator does not do any difference. All the leaves are soft and brownish colour. It is breaking into pieces. The trunk is still strong. Please advise about the watering and the temperature. I know it does not really like to be moved around.
Please help. Thank you.

The Money Tree (pachira) is a warm-climate plant. It's not clear what your climate is like, but this plant likes to be warm. At this point, you should trim it back, remove all the dead leaves and debris around it, fertilize it and put it in a warm, bright environment. If you aren't able to do so, you may want to wrap it or keep it warm through the winter and return it to the garden when it warms up in the spring. There's no guarantee that you can save the plant, but as a native of Mexico and South America, it wants to be in 60-65 degrees F, and likes loamy, sandy soil.
