Q.Money plant or Epipremnum aureum
I am residing in Dubai where temperature in summer time is approx. 40 to 50 degree Celsius. Can you suggest how I can take care of my money plant in this temperature, as some stems are already yellow and leaves are getting brown…and also some stems are growing but no leaves are coming in?
This is a good example of why one should use the Latin names of plants. If you had only said money plants, I would have thought of Pachira aquatica, what we call money tree here. E. aureum is commonly called pothos in the US. All that aside, yellowing stems and browning leaves are usually a sign that the pothos is getting too little water, and/or too much light. Temperature is not much of a factor. When you water, allow a run off of 1/2" (1.27 cm) to remain in the saucer; the soil will take it up in a day or two.
