Q.Miracle Gro for Roses
Hello again, i do have a question that i have combed the net about and figure its best to ask the experts. I have approx 73 roses, mostly hts, for years i have fed them BAYER , ADVANCED liquid when i had just a few, but since i had so many i switched to the BAYER granules it was a faster way of feeding them, we also use coffee grounds and banana tea/dried banana peels. I notice many of my roses were dying, i used to have more than 73. I just purchased new ones and it hit me all of my roses are in raised beds that is covered with rocks (for that natural look), i do not think the roses are being feed enough, I called Bayer Advance and they wanted me to remove the rocks and scratch the food into the ground on every rose, not gonna happen. I recently became disabled and I find the easiest and cheapest way to feed my roses is to use Miracle Gro for Roses, (which many people hate). I have found it to work for my roses so far, after a month (feeding them weekly), so I would like know if it is safe to continue to use for the duration of the growing season, and do you have any other suggestions on feeding the roses that will be cost time effective?

Miracle-Gro used too often can cause soil salts issues so we do not recommend using only the Miracle-Gro. I do not worry about getting their mix that says it is for Roses as I have never seen any difference in performance between it and the Miracle Gro Multipurpose. We recommend feeding roses with an organic or organic based rose fertilizer in the spring, then do the liquid applications from then on.
