Miniscule Garden Snails

Question

Discovered dozens of minute baby snails in a planter on my deck this morning. There are no plants in the planter at the moment. The snails are about the size of a large grain of rice. Is there an easy way to get rid of them before they grow and attack other planters without hurting the soil?
