miniature rose bud problem

Hello, My miniature rose had 8 little buds looking very healthy just like the entire plant. Yesterday the buds looked about ready to burst open. Today the buds did not continue to open but the tips of the bud are hard dry & brown. It is obvious that they will never continue to mature & open. I’m sad 🙁 I have sprayed them with a systemic for roses twice this year & also fed them a couple times. Where did I go wrong? It has plenty of space & the right amount of sun & shade. Thank you so much for your time. M. Susan Ankney
Sorry but I’m 71 & don’t know how to upload photos.

It sounds like Botrytis Blight, a fungal disease. There are products to treat it. It also helps to keep leaves dry which means no overhead watering. This blight will overwinter in the soil so throw out all diseased plant parts.
