Mimosa Acacia Dealbata

For some years I have grown this Mimosa in a large tub. It is about 7 feet tall, and is pruned every spring. It stands out in the sun all summer, and becomes smothered in flower buds towards the autumn. I bring it in to my conservatory for the winter, where it has plenty of light and is frost free. Every year it gradually loses most of the flower buds, as they turn brown and fall off. What can I do to stop this please?
