Milky spore

I recently applied the milky spore granules to my lawn and after several waterings the granules are still there. Has the bacteria gone into the ground, because the granules are still there and haven’t dissolved?

The Milky Spore granules are a slow release method of the application and can take longer to dissolve but do release into the soil at each watering. Sometimes lightly raking back and forth over the application area will help break them up to dissolve faster. Once the area has been raked over, water well. The powder form dissolves quicker but is far more messy to apply. It is recommended to water the area of application well before and after application of the granules.
