Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comPlanted some Midnight butterfly bushes and they have been blooming since they were put in, but I know nothing about trimming these plants. All the blooms are now dead but the plants are still green; and with freezing weather coming, I am lost as what to do with them.

You can normally deadhead the shrubs without any ill effects; however, with winter weather on its way, it may be better to leave it until spring, as the dead flower growth may actually provide some winter protection.
