I purchased a small potted tree in a garden center and planted in a larger pot and it was doing fine. It is placed in a sunny location and I live in North FL, I think zone 9 (St. Augustine). I was gone for a week but my husband was home. He watered all my plants during this time but when I arrived home a lot of foliage had dropped off. I see no insects and I fertilized in early April with a product that included insect control. Would you have an idea why it dropped leaves?

Thank you,
Helen Salanitri
