Q.mexican bird of paradise
we are fairly new to az. (2 1/2 yrs) and have 4 large Mexican bird of paradise plants. they look healthy enough, growing, etc….get fertilizer too. none of them ever bloom with those orange blooms. some are in a sunny area…others in shady area. so, we see them growing everywhere along roadsides, blooming like crazy. help us out PLEASE. THANK YOU
Bird of paradise do not need to be watered or fertilized. I have 6 on my property in az also. Just let them go on their own. Take a hedge trimmer to them them back. I do mine every month and have had 7 times has new flowers last year
