Q.Maple Trees Disease
Three maple trees in our garden have not grown lush and healthy green leaves on the top parts of the trees, although they have lush and healthy green leaves on the bottom parts of the trees. We have another 2 maple trees on the other side of the house and they are lush and healthy. The problem was noticeable throughout the spring (October-November) and the summer (December – February) seasons in Melbourne Australia. See photos in https://photos.app.goo.gl/yH9K1gRv61RvttPF7 As far as I can tell, this is not Anthracnose fungus or Verticillium wilt fungus. Any suggestions what the problem is and how should it be treated?

From the photo, it looks like the healthy growth follows the shade pattern. This would indicate that the top of the tree receives more light than the bottom. In hotter climates, this will cause the shaded portions to be much healthier than than those that see scorching sun.
Depending on the exact species, some prefer more shade than others.
Since moving it is not going to be a viable option, proper care will be the only way to keep it looking at its best.
