Mango trees

I noticed that this year the mango trees are not flowering, not one. I have been driving around the neighborhood and the cities around, and there is no mango trees with flowers….Normally this happens during December/January but not this year. Why?

Mango Tree are known to not flower reliably. Left on their own, they may even skip blooming some years.
Many growers rely on chemical forcing to induce a Mango to flower.

A specific schedule and mix of Potassium Nitrate is used on the trees to force blooming.

A professional should be consulted for this application.
