Q.Mango Plant Problems
I have been growing some mango plants from seed. They were doing fine, until I noticed some issues. My first plant suffered from frost damage, and overwatering. No that I cut the damaged leaves, the edges become crispy and the crisp spreads. The top shoot that is supposed to grow doesn’t grow. I replanted it recently into a citrus and fruit soil type. I watered my plants and noticed the drainage was great. My other plant which is my oldest one kind of stopped growing at around 2 months. The top shoots have been dying off. Recently I noticed 2 tiny but very brown crispy spots on one of the leaves. The root system also as if it stopped growing. My third plant was very healthy, even though the plant wasn’t growing, it had a large shoot on top which looked healthy. I noticed that one of the leaf tips became this brownish colour which isn’t crispy, but has dark veins. The top shoot also started to die away. My last plant which is in the most critical condition has a lot of problems. The leaves are wilted, the top shoot started to die away, the tips and edges of the leaves have become brown. The root system is gone, just 3 tap remain. All the roots growing from the tap roots became as thin as hairs and when I touched them, they fell off.
