Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a lovely weeping, cascading cherry tree that I planted in a large planter in the spring and I live in Midwest and don’t want to lose it over the winter. Do I need to bring into the garage over the winter or can I just cover it with heavy plastic and leave it where it is? Thanks.

The weeping cherry is hardy to minus 10 degrees, and will survive in your area naturally. If you still have concern, move it to a south facing wall or mulch it with hay.
