Magnolia tree not growing

We planted our tree about 18 years ago and it hasn’t grown more than a few feet tall or wider. It puts on new leaves and blooms each spring but not getting bigger. What is wrong?

I would recommend a soil test. This can tell you what nutrients may be needed or if your soil needs to be amended.
Your County Extension Office can help you with a soil test for a small fee.
