Q.Magnolia tree leaves

Zone Punxsutawney pa 15767 | Mdunkel added on November 19, 2017 | Answered

It is late November in eastern Pennsylvania and the snow is starting to fly. My magnolia tree (40’) still has all of its leaves (started turning brown) Is this normal?

Most magnolias are evergreens. And yes, they will also turn brown underneath. They are well suited to handle almost any climate. Here is an article for more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/magnolia/magnolia-tree-care.htm
