We have found a bush macadamia nut tree and have some cuttings. What is the best way to strike a cutting please? Old wood, new wood and how long will it take to strike? We live in Nth QLD (Dalbeg) Looking forward to receiving your answer Thank's for your time Kind Regards Nicki

Well, by far, the easiest way to guarantee a cutting is by taking new wood. This will mean that it will take a little longer to mature, but you can get much better success rates with new wood. This article will give you more information on taking cuttings from shrubs and trees:
