Q.Lucky bamboo care

Zone London | Tolulope added on December 26, 2017 | Answered

One of my lucky bamboos turned yellow at the top. I cut it off and left the healthy stem in water. I tried to see if I could put the top in a smaller jar to see if it could grow roots so i removed a couple of the yellow leaves and saw this (pic attached). Should I go ahead and replant or should I throw this away?

You can, definitely, try and root this. I suspect that the plant is staying too moist for too long. If this is in water only, then it requires a little bit of a different care.

This article will refresh you on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/lucky-bamboo/growing-lucky-bamboo-indoor.htm
