Lucky Bamboo

I just found out from this sight that my plant should go in Cactus soil! Wow! I’m glad I came on here & my question was I take out my plant out to clean the glass because of hard water now I’m using spring water but it says to use distilled?? As you can see it a beauty with two hearts that had only a little foliage above & has been thriving for 5 years it’s about 2 1/2 feet now & just grew more leaves this summer..but when I put water in it use to drink it up now it doesn’t but I don’t have a problem with the growth..but today I saw that the root are on the orange side although not mushy or rotted looking..my fear “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” & also the marbles aren’t really holding it up anymore it tilts..can to many be to much weight on roots?? In the picture u can see the planter (not the one it came in) is only 3 1/2 inches & I didn’t understand what type of planter to use with the cactus soil..what kind of fertilizer I have regular plant food also food for orchids which is for acidic plants..I never had a yellow leaf or a problem & I’m always watching if it changes..thank you for listening to all my babble lol I thank you for all your help.. it’s just that I will literally cry if it died it’s the longest I’ve ever had a plant this healthy ???

Yes you can plant it in a cactus/succulent blend soil for more support, good drainage/less root rot.
