Q.Lower Leaves Turning Red On Eucalyptus

The leaves on our eucalyptus tree are suddenly turning very red at the bottom. Loads of new growth though. I this normal?

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. Some older growth turning as new growth appears is normal. If this is happening at a faster rate than new growth is appearing, then something could be off in the soil. I would test for pH imbalances, and nutrition deficiencies, just in case:
