Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI need low-growing flowering annuals for my fairy garden. I have 5- half whiskey barrels that I am using for my planters and they are about 48″ across. I have read about portulaca and will get some of them, but I’d like a few variety of low growing flowers to fill the barrels with. I am using potting soil and they will be placed on the west side of my home and receive full sun for 5 hours a day. Thanks!

There are several options here! I have an article that will help. Some of them are a little on the large side, but most annuals remain small by nature. Here is the article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/gardening-by-zone/zone-5/common-zone-5-annuals.htm [1]
