Q.Looking For Vegetables To Plant In Dallas TX That Can Thrive In 5-6 Hours Of Direct Sunlight.
My raised vegetable bed is on the east side of our house. It is shielded in the morning hours by by my neighbor’s trees and shaded by our house in the late afternoon. As a result, the garden only gets direct sunlight from Noon-5 pm in the summer. I live in Dallas, TX. What types of vegetables might do well with the amount of direct light and the heat associated with Dallas summers? Thanks!

If your bed gets that much sun you can try any vegetable. Tomatoes may be iffy, because they really need 6 to 8 hours of sun.
