Looking For Perfect Potting Soil Recipe.

I’m looking for the best potting soil option. Every year I get root rot, fungus and soggy soil as the drainage is always subpar. What can I do to make up the perfect potting soil? Willing to mix materials if need be.

Choose mixes that have plenty of perlite, which will help with drainage. You can also add some to your potting soil if it seems heavy. You also can choose soils for succulents, which will be a fast draining soil.

Check your containers. If you don't have several holes in the bottom, you won't get good drainage.
